Canned Cheeseburger ... made in Germany! :-(
This article should be labled with the topic "curiosities" or "on the go", not so much in the topic "kitchen". But since it's dealing with food and I don't have the other categories handy, I'll put it in here.

I didn't really believe this first since Germany is not the Hamburger nation itself and I wondered which fellow countryman came to the idea to can a cheeseburger.

I looked up the blog (that the other blog was quoting) and voila, I found all about this canned cheesburger:

Are you such a sweety that you like to carry a cupcake in your lunchbox?

On the hunt for some inspiration regarding a car/car-shaped cake and car cupcakes, I just stumbled over the following containers:

Did you know there are individual containers for cupcakes? ... I never saw them before, I'm just familiar with the big containers that hold a load of 24 cupcakes.

I'm not sure about this ... I think I don't find it as absurd as an individual banana storage container (although it makes some sense). But I don't really recall having to transport a single cupcake.

But if you have some budget and like to give out cupcakes as a party favor or even as a Christmas gift, this is a cute idea for wrapping and protecting them.

Although I didn't see them before, they are probably available by more than one brand. The ones I saw (picture) are about $ 13 for 5 containers.

Sorry I didn't know earlier ... TODAY IS WORLD PASTA DAY! (October 25)

The ones shown in the picture were small ones, we call them party rolls. You can serve them for example with butter or cream cheese as an appertizer. They are best either right out of the oven or on the same day they were baked.

Here's my recipe:
